The Embassy is pleased to welcome you to the stand of The Netherlands on Europe Day 2008! On 11 May in Kyiv, 14 May in Odessa and  on 17 May in  Donetsk you can become more familiar with the Kingdom of The Netherlands, the country that lies mainly below the sea level and is well-known for it’s windmills, cheese and tulips. Your are invited to learn more about Dutch history and to get acquainted with Vincent van Gogh, the famous 19th century painter, whose 155th anniversary is marked this year! And of course we will give you an opportunity to learn your first few words in Dutch at the European Language School.

The Matra KAP Social Transformation Programme announces two calls for proposals:

• Improving of public diplomacy and lobbying skills. Please see the announcement here.

Matra KAP Programme invites non-governmental organisations in Ukraine and Moldova to take part in the programme in 2008. The general competition is open throughout the year. Information about additional thematic or regional competitions will be published separately.
